Key Responsibilities Review, assess, and moderate German-language user-generated content across major social media platforms in accordance with platform-specific community guidelines and policies. Identify, flag, and take appropriate action on harmful, abusive, misleading, or policy-violating content including hate speech, graphic material, misinformation, and spam within social media environments. Maintain a consistently high level of accuracy and quality when making content moderation decisions, ensuring fair and consistent application of platform rules. Escalate complex, sensitive, or borderline content cases to senior moderators or trust and safety teams following established escalation protocols. Monitor social media trends, emerging threats, and evolving content patterns in the German-speaking online space to proactively support platform safety initiatives. Document moderation actions, maintain accurate records of reviewed content, and contribute to regular quality assurance reporting processes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including trust and safety, legal, and product teams to refine moderation guidelines and improve platform integrity. Provide culturally informed insights into German-language content nuances, slang, and regional sensitivities to support the ongoing improvement of moderation frameworks.
