German speaking Business Development Manager (FMCG)
Location: London
Hybrid work 2 days a week in the office
Salary: between £35,000 per annum and £50,000 per annum depending on experience plus bonus and great benefits

Main duties: An exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and expand distribution across Germany by developing strategic partnerships, managing key distributors and identifying new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.
The role:
– Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth across Germany
– Build, manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers and key trade partners
– Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, consumer insights and competitor research
– Drive distribution expansion and increase market presence across mainstream retail channels
– Lead, coach and support field sales teams to deliver objectives and achieve sales targets
– Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain teams to execute effective go-to-market strategies to optimise product offerings
– Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management
– Manage business development budgets and support forecasting, planning and international travel to customers and partners as required
Candidate's Profile
– Fluent in German (written and spoken) essential
– Experience in FMCG sales or business development, with a strong focus on the German market required
– A proven track record of delivering sales growth through distributor, wholesale or retail channels
– Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
– Proactive, organised and the ability to work independently
– Passion for food and the food industry
– Able to travel to Germany when needed
