Role Overview Provide studio-quality German voice recordings to help train next-generation AI systems. This contract role focuses on capturing natural conversational and narration styles, ensuring each sample meets strict technical and linguistic standards for use in high-quality machine learning datasets. No prior AI experience is required, domain expertise in professional audio recording is the priority. Key Responsibilities • Produce and submit high-quality German audio recordings using professional-grade equipment. • Read and deliver speech from predefined scripts or prompts, creating accurate and natural-sounding samples. • Ensure recordings meet specified technical and linguistic criteria, including clarity, pronunciation, consistency, and low background noise. • Participate in a sample review process by providing a representative voice recording as part of the engagement. • Collaborate with the project team to address queries and revise recordings based on feedback. • Document recording setup, procedures, and any issues encountered to preserve data integrity. • Deliver recordings according to project timelines and established quality benchmarks. Qualifications • Native fluency in German, with exceptional pronunciation and diction. • Minimum three years of professional audio recording experience. • Proficiency with advanced audio recording hardware and software, including noise reduction and quality control techniques. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and documentation. • Experience in voice narration, dubbing, or related performance work is a plus. • Ability to interpret and accurately deliver a variety of scripts and prompts. Work Terms • Role type, contractor. • Location, remote. • Work supports a project for a major customer and requires adherence to project timelines and quality standards. • You must have and use professional audio equipment for all recordings, and you will need this equipment during the interview/sample review step. • Engagement involves submitting representative samples and making revisions when requested by the project team. Compensation Pay range, $20.00 to $40.00 per hour. Eligibility • Native German speakers only. • No prior AI experience required.
