Overview Vacancy: 4 x options available ( 3 x surgeries to choose from and 1 x out of hours available) Westminster – will be the only GP on site • Use of Emis/Excell/MS Outlook/ESR/Patch’s • Prescriptions – daily • Lab Reports – daily • Up to 3 – Home Visits Telephone Triage – per day • Up to 3 – Home visits – per day • 12 Face to Face/Telephone Consultation or Patch’s patient appointments – AM • 2 x Sick Note – AM • 12 Face to Face/Telephone Consultation or Patch’s patient appointments – PM • Docman Tasks – daily • ECG Reviews – daily • NHS111 appointments – daily • Acute Visiting Service (AVS) calls – within 15 minutes when received • E-Rs referrals • Urgent paperwork queries on the day • Nurse/Admin/Clinical Pharmacist queries where applicable Willaston • Locum GP would have 12 morning appointments a mix of face to face or telephone calls • 3 Urgent Telephone calls and a home visit in between the morning and afternoon session • In the afternoon they would have 12 appointments either face to face or telephone consultation • The GP would also have approx. 30 scripts per session, approx. 30 blood results per day, receive approx. 12 Docman per day. • If they were covering the on-call session, they would have 7 appointments in the afternoon either face to face or telephone consultation (instead of 12) and the remainder of the afternoon would only be used for urgent appointments/queries emails/letters/ECGs that come in. Old Hall Surgery • Locum GP would have 12 morning appointments either face to face or telephone calls, 3 telephone calls and a home visit in between the morning and afternoon session • In the afternoon they would have 12 appointments either face to face or telephone consultation. • The GP would receive approx 45 scripts per session, approx 30 blood results per day, receive approx 12 docman per day. • If they were covering the on call session, they would have 7 appointments in the afternoon either face to face or telephone consultation (instead of 12) and the remainder of the afternoon would only be used for urgent appointments/queries and to go through our urgent on the day folder which deals with any urgent emails/letters/ECGs that come in. Out of Hours GP • Countess of Chester next to the main entrance for the next 2 months dated 10/6/24 • Clinical system: Adastra • Day breakdown: seeing patients face to face or home visits as required • Not a ward area • Unable to state how many patients to be seen, depends on demand – we work to 15 minute appt slots if seeing patients face to face, home visits approx maybe 1 hour per patient • Other clinicians are on duty apart from the overnight – but would have a triage nurse, admin and driver to support. IT on-call accessible also if required. • No admin duties as such; patients seen one a seen and completed basis
