Description
We are currently seeking  General Lending Lawyers to support Axiom clients across financial services, corporate, investment, real estate, infrastructure, and other industry sectors on a broad range of lending, secured finance, corporate finance, refinancing, and debt finance matters. Responsibilities: Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on general lending transactions, including secured lending, corporate lending, asset-based lending, bilateral loans, syndicated facilities, refinancing, and cross-border lending matters. Draft, review, and negotiate lending and finance documentation, including loan agreements, facility agreements, LMA-based documentation, security documents, intercreditor agreements, guarantees, ancillary finance documents, and transaction-related documentation. Advise lenders, borrowers, financial institutions, corporate clients, investors, treasury teams, and internal stakeholders on lending structures, debt finance matters, documentation requirements, transaction risk, and commercial considerations. Partner with legal, finance, treasury, commercial, risk, external counsel, and deal teams to support domestic and international lending transactions and deliver pragmatic advice throughout the transaction lifecycle. Minimum Qualifications: Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, or equivalent overseas qualification with strong general lending, banking and finance, secured lending, corporate lending, or debt finance experience. Experience advising on general lending transactions, including secured lending, bilateral loans, syndicated facilities, asset-based lending, refinancing, facility agreements, intercreditor arrangements, or cross-border lending matters. Strong drafting, review, and negotiation experience across loan agreements, facility agreements, LMA-based documentation, security packages, guarantees, intercreditor agreements, ancillary finance documents, or related lending documentation. Excellent commercial awareness, drafting ability, communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice in fast-paced transaction environments.
