Job Title - Labor Position Type - Flexible hours - up to 40 hours, rotating weekends Location - Beeville Second Chance Employer - Yes - Pay Range $12-16 Age: 18+ (If required) Recruiter: Liz Martinez Job Description • Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment. • Sort cargo before loading and unloading. • Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. • Stack cargo in locations, such as transit sheds or in holds of ships as directed, using pallets or cargo boards. • Move materials, equipment, or supplies. • Sort materials or objects for processing or transport. • Load shipments, belongings, or materials. • Secure cargo. • Position material handling equipment. • Clean facilities or work areas. • Package materials or products. • Shovel materials. • Maintain facilities. • Set up material handling gear or equipment, such as rigging, packaging, or temporary structures. • Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
