GENERAL DUTIES VOLUNTEER Job Title: General Duties Volunteer Hours: 10am-4.30 (Saturday or Sunday) We would expect you to commit to at least 5 days a year Reporting to: Clinical lead Based at: Sittingbourne (5 weekends a year) and Broadstairs (1 weekend a year) Wrotham (2 weekends a year), Bexley (1 day programme twice a year), Sheppey (1 day programme twice a year) Job role: Assisting the Group Leaders with general duties Duties and responsibilities: This role is working alongside the Clinical Lead, Programme Assistant and two Group Leaders. Helping children and young people, i.e. cutting up clay and moulding into clay balls, watching and playing with the children during morning break time and lunch time i.e. kicking a football outside with them, building Lego etc. Laminating certificates. Assembling memory boxes, filling up salt jars, making anger batons out of newspaper. Washing up paint pots and clay tools. Laying out chairs for lunch. Moving musical instruments. Photocopying and laminating photos. General tidying up after activities. Lunch and refreshments will be provided during a weekend. We will pay 45 pence per mile to cover your travel expenses. We will provide training (Safeguarding Children). We will provide you with a branded t-shirt.
