Description
The Department of Anesthesiology at WashU Medicine is seeking General Anesthesiologist faculty members for shared commitment at two of the community hospitals within the St. Louis region; Progress West Hospital and Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital. These anesthesiology positions include a mix of solo-performing and supervision of CRNAs. Each hospital has unique surgical specialties/service lines with various levels of acuity that offer exciting cases for your professional growth. It includes shift-work scheduling with protected pre-call and post-call days enabling greater work-life balance.
These are academic appointments within a 'private practice' environment and competitive community compensation. Faculty appointment levels will depend on the applicant’s credentials and experience. Part-time positions and rotations to other sites are encouraged. There is opportunity to be active in the vast academic department which has over 140 faculty and is also a national leader in research.
