Boscawen House, Chapel Hill, Truro, TR1 3BN We are seeking an additional team member to join our Gateway team, who provides a ‘first point of contact’ service to the people who access our organisation through the helpline, in person or via email or social media. The role will involve actively listening to their conversation, assessing their circumstances, identifying a range of solutions and supporting the person to access the most appropriate option or range of options for their needs through a focussed, guided conversation. Are you good listener? Do you like helping and supporting others? This role would suit someone with strong interpersonal skills who can provide guidance, reassurance and decision-making support to our helpline. A full driving licence and access to a car is desirable for the purpose attending events and running a stand .
