Description
About us At Founders Pledge, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs to do immense good with their charitable giving. Since launching in 2015, our community of over 2,300 members has pledged nearly $13.6B and donated $1.9B+ to the charitable sector in 45+ countries. We provide end-to-end giving infrastructure, pioneering research, and access to a global network of experts. In other words, we help tech leaders become strategic philanthropists. Our members include founders and leaders behind companies such as Airbnb, UiPath, Dropbox, Skype, Spotify, and Uber. We focus on deploying capital where it can achieve the greatest impact, guided by evidence, careful analysis, and long-term thinking. About the role Salary: £65,000-£70,000 DOE We're looking for a Fundraising Lead to spearhead our efforts in securing ongoing Core Operational Expenditure (OpEx) income to power our mission. Reporting to our CXO, this is an incredible opportunity for a self-starting, highly collaborative professional to work cross-functionally with our Member Experience (MX), Finance, Comms, and Impact Analytics teams to optimise member and donor touchpoints. In this role, your primary focus is to protect and improve the lifetime value of our core donor community. Rather than managing cold prospecting pipelines, you’ll focus on high-touch stewardship. Working hand-in-hand with our Community Managers and Advisory team, you will design the touchpoints that deepen existing relationships, convert engaged members into active supporters and make direct acts to members where appropriate. You’ll also support our Founder/President on major gifts and own grant proposals. This is both an externally-facing role from a stewardship perspective and a highly strategic, behind-the-scenes enablement role, with real scaling impact. You’ll be supported by our Junior Data Analyst and will oversee their data input and maintenance. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Portfolio Management: oversee the entire fundraising pipeline and ensure effective moves management. Stewardship: Design and execute touchpoints that deepen existing relationships, keeping donors connected to our mission and moving them naturally toward continued support. Support high-level relationship holders: Organise and prepare donor touchpoints for senior leadership, writing tailored stewardship materials and ensuring executive time is focused where it matters most. This includes supporting our Founder and President with 7+ figure relationships, preparing proposals and impact reports. Campaign Management: Act as the operational lead for recurring moments like our Annual End of Year Giving Campaign, collaborating with Comms and Product to run targeted campaigns and track donor behaviour. Optimise data and reporting: Partner with Finance and data teams to manage monthly analyses, track progress against annual targets, monitor the stewardship pipeline, and support quarterly board reporting. Coach member-facing teams: Equip Community Managers and the Advisory team with the frameworks, messaging, and insights they need to maintain strong, natural fundraising conversations during regular member interactions. About you You don't need a traditional fundraising background to excel in this role, but you would need to engage with our members (those who already donate and those who don't) in a credible, meaningful way. You might come from major gifts or donor relations, but equally you could bring transferable skills from a partnership development background, high-value account management or similar. What matters is that you understand relationship dynamics, can make considered asks with confidence, and bring structure and strategic thinking to a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You are likely to have: Experience in relationship-led engagement. You love to network, build trust quickly, and are confident making direct asks within
