­­ Position: Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineer Working Location: Hanoi Contact to : Tuyen dung Vietsol ([email protected]) Functional Safety Engineer leads the development, implementation, and verification of functional safety concepts across hardware and software systems. This role ensures that products meet international safety standards, achieve required ASIL/SIL levels, and maintain safety throughout the product lifecycle. The engineer acts as a technical authority, guiding cross ‑ functional teams and influencing architectural decisions to ensure robust safety compliance. Job Descriptions: • Lead and support safety activities in accordance with ISO 26262, from concept to production • Perform Safety Analysis including FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA • Define and safety requirements, safety mechanisms, and safety architecture • Collaborate with system, hardware and software teams to ensure end-to-end safety compliance • Develop and maintain Safety Case documentation and support safety audits and assessments • Support verification and validation of safety mechanisms and diagnostic coverage • Interface with internal and external stakeholders including OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and certification bodies Job Requirements: Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field • 3+ years of experience in system development for safety-critical systems • Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 • Experience with automotive ECUs, sensors, or power electronics • Familiarity with ASIL levels, diagnostic coverage, and safety metrics • English proficiency for working • Excellent documentation and communication skills Preferred Skills: • Background in automotive, embedded systems, software design is a strong plus • Knowledge of ASPICE, IEC 61508, or other safety standards • Background in embedded systems, software design is a strong plus • Certifications in Functional Safety (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety Engineer) is a strong plus • Experience in previous Fusa-related project is a strong plus Benefits: • Good salary (includes base salary, additional salary, housing allowance, meal allowance, etc.) • 13th month salary + Incentive/performance bonus • Salary review twice a year • Lunch monthly support • Accommodation support if working at Hai Phong and Company transportation from Van Cao Street/Ngo Gia Tu Street, Hai Phong City to factory. • Company shuttle service between Hanoi and Hai Phong at the beginning and end of the workweek • Mon–Fri & alternative Saturday working schedule with 44 hours/week. • 12 annual leave days plus 1 birthday leave • Health care insurance • Training & career development program • Oversea working opportunities • Have opportunity to work in Electric vehicle development project and testing with system/vehicle integration level. • Working in international environment with experts around the world • Opportunities for career advancement to Team Leader, Group Leader, and Manager positions • Monthly budget for team activities, etc.
