Position Overview We are looking for a Functional Analyst with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Proficiency in SQL and fluency in French are essential for this position. Prior experience in the banking sector is a strong plus. Salary Gross : €70,000 to €80,000 Yearly Key Responsibilities 1. Business Requirements Analysis • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Identify gaps and propose effective solutions to address business needs. 2. Specification Creation • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional and technical specifications. • Ensure all specifications align with project objectives and stakeholder expectations. 3. SQL Queries and Data Analysis • Write and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Validate assumptions, test solutions, and support decision-making using query results. 4. Stakeholder Coordination • Serve as a liaison between business units, development teams, and other stakeholders. • Facilitate clear and consistent communication to ensure smooth project execution. 5. Problem Analysis and Logical Reasoning • Analyze problems to identify root causes and propose viable solutions. • Use logical reasoning to validate and prioritize requirements or solutions. 6. Documentation and Reporting • Maintain detailed and comprehensive documentation of requirements, specifications, and processes. • Provide stakeholders with regular updates and reports on project progress. Qualifications and Skills Technical Proficiency • Advanced knowledge of SQL with the ability to create and execute complex queries. • Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective solutions. • Strong logical reasoning and decision-making capabilities. Communication and Coordination • Fluent in French (mandatory), with excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience coordinating with stakeholders from diverse teams and backgrounds. Domain Knowledge • Previous experience or knowledge in the banking or financial services industry is advantageous. Educational Background • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Information Systems , Computer Science , or a related field. Preferred Experience • 3–5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst . • Experience working in multi-lingual and multi-cultural environments.
