Job Overview • Role : Full-Stack Developer (6–10 years of experience) • Location : Hong Kong • Split : 80% hands on development, 20% support Core Technical Skills • Backend : Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST microservices, and system architecture design. • Frontend : Angular is ideal; React is acceptable. • Data & Cloud : SQL optimization, containers, OpenShift, and Git. • Engineering : OO design, TDD, and refactoring complex codebases. Domain & Business Skills • Prime Brokerage : Direct experience in Prime Financing / SBL is highly preferred. • Asset Classes : Strong knowledge of Equities or Fixed Income trading workflows. • Soft Skills : Top-tier communication for high-level interaction with traders under pressure. Preferred (Bonus) Skills • Event-Driven : Messaging patterns using Kafka or Solace. • Optimization : Asset allocation, inventory, or funding automation models.
