Fulfilment Team Leader
Location: Enfield
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on Fulfilment Team Leader to join their busy warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of productivity, quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team.
• Lead, motivate and support warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Ensure customer and store orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor team productivity and ensure processes and procedures are consistently followed.
• Manage staff performance, attendance and daily KPIs.
• Plan workloads effectively, particularly during peak trading periods.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound dispatches.
• Carry out stock control checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Company procedures.
• Investigate operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous experience within a warehouse or fulfilment environment, ideally within FMCG.
• Experience supervising or leading a warehouse team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using warehouse systems.
• Experience using Shopify would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Knowledge of Lean or 5S continuous improvement principles is desirable.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety within a warehouse environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime, evenings or weekends to support business needs.
