Fuel/Lube Technician – Mine Site
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Fuel/Lube Technician to support daily mining operations by fueling, lubricating, and performing preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment at an active mine site. This position plays a key role in maintaining equipment uptime and ensuring safe, efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience servicing heavy equipment in mining, construction, quarry, or similar heavy industrial environments.
Schedule

12-hour shifts

Day and night shift opportunities may be available

Responsibilities
•
Fuel, grease, and lubricate heavy mining and construction equipment
•
Perform daily preventative maintenance services and fluid checks
•
Inspect equipment for leaks, damage, and maintenance concerns
•
Maintain accurate service and fuel records
•
Safely operate service trucks and fuel/lube equipment
•
Follow all mine site safety procedures and MSHA regulations
•
Communicate maintenance issues to supervisors and mechanics
•
Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications
•
Previous fuel/lube or preventative maintenance experience preferred
•
Experience working around heavy equipment required
•
Mining, quarry, or construction experience strongly preferred
•
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in outdoor conditions
•
Strong attention to safety and detail
•
Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in physically demanding environments
•
Valid driver’s license required
•
MSHA certification preferred but not required
