Bishop Gadsden is seeking an energetic, creative, and detail-oriented Retail Assistant Store Manager to help lead the day-to-day success of our mission-based stores, including Eliza’s Attic and The Village Shop. This role blends retail operations, online sales, social media marketing, and donor engagement—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.

What You'll Do:
• Coordinate and schedule donation pick-ups, ensuring efficient logistics and clear communication with donors and team members
• Evaluate, sort, price, and merchandise donated items to meet resale standards
• Manage end-to-end e-commerce operations, including product listing, pricing, sales, and shipping
• Deliver excellent customer service and support daily store operations, including opening/closing and POS transactions
• Create engaging social media content to promote sales, products, and events while growing online presence
• Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers to maintain strong store operations
Requirements
What We Need In A Candidate:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of work experience (retail required; leadership experience preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently
• Creative mindset with an eye for merchandising and branding
• Enthusiasm, reliability, and a passion for teamwork
• Knowledge of antiques or resale items is a plus
