About the Role
We're hiring a Business Continuity Manager / BCM Consultant (m/f/d) for a critical infrastructure project in the energy sector. This role centers on establishing and developing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) for a corporate end client in energy infrastructure. You'll act as both strategic advisor and hands-on consultant, helping build a resilient, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant BCM framework — working directly with business units, management, internal stakeholders, and external consultants on BCM processes, emergency response concepts, Business Impact Analyses, and governance in a KRITIS environment.
Your Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and further develop a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
• Lead and facilitate BCM workshops with business departments and stakeholders.
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve business continuity and emergency response plans.
• Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments.
• Develop crisis management and emergency preparedness concepts.
• Advise business units and management on BCM strategy and execution.
• Support implementation of regulatory requirements across critical infrastructure environments.
• Enhance existing BCM processes and governance structures.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external consulting partners.

Required Skills & Experience
• Several years' experience as a Business Continuity Manager or BCM Consultant.
• Proven project experience in the energy sector or critical infrastructure organizations.
• Strong expertise designing and operating Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS).
• Hands-on experience developing emergency response and recovery plans.
• Experience facilitating workshops at management and operational level.
• Excellent understanding of critical infrastructure risks and environments.
• Sound knowledge of BCM standards and regulatory frameworks: ISO 22301, NIS2, KRITIS.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in gas supply, utilities, or energy provider environments.
• Crisis management experience.
• Knowledge of energy-sector regulations and compliance requirements.
• Certifications in Business Continuity Management or Information Security.
