Fractional Finance Director Location: West Midlands / Flexible Salary: Competitive Day Rate – outside of IR35 Our client is a fast-growing group collectively generating around £6m turnover and £1m EBITDA. With continued expansion and acquisitions planned, they are seeking a Part-Time Finance Director to provide strategic and hands-on financial leadership across the group. The Role Working closely with the Directors, the Finance Director will: • Review and advise on corporate banking arrangements and explore improved funding and investment options. • Deliver quarterly management reports and financial analysis for the Board. • Oversee and consolidate the group’s financial structure. • Analyse P&L, cash flow and balance sheet, ensuring optimal performance and effective year-end outcomes. • Identify and evaluate growth and acquisition opportunities, supporting due diligence and investment decisions. • Recommend efficiency and savings initiatives across the group. • Provide guidance to internal teams on cash management, forecasting and process improvement. • Attend Board meetings, advising Directors on financial strategy and decision-making. The Person • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent). • Proven track record in an FD or senior finance leadership role within an SME or multi-entity group. • Commercially minded, strategic, and comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. This is a part-time appointment (initially 1 day per week) offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on a rapidly scaling group. This will suit an experienced fractional FD looking to add a long-term client to their portfolio.
