Location: Yorkshire (Hybrid – 3 Days per Week) Sector: Luxury Hospitality Salary: Competitive Day Rate / Package (Dependent on Experience) About the Opportunity FD Capital is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious, Yorkshire-based luxury hotel to appoint a Fractional Finance Director on a part-time basis (circa 3 days per week). This is a unique opportunity to work with a high-end hospitality business renowned for its exceptional guest experience, strong brand, and ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team, enhancing financial performance, and driving strategic initiatives. The Role Acting as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and ownership group, you will take ownership of the hotel’s financial leadership, providing both strategic oversight and hands-on support. Key responsibilities include: • Leading financial strategy, planning, and performance management • Delivering insightful management information, KPIs, and board reporting • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimisation • Supporting revenue management, pricing strategy, and margin improvement • Ensuring strong financial controls, governance, and compliance • Partnering with operational teams to drive efficiency and profitability • Advising on investment decisions, capital expenditure, and growth initiatives Candidate Profile We are seeking a commercially focused finance leader with: • Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance professional • Strong hospitality sector experience (ideally luxury hotel, resort, or premium leisure environments) • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) • A hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels • Experience working with owner-managed or SME businesses • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Working Arrangement • Fractional position : approximately 3 days per week • Hybrid working : combining on-site presence in Yorkshire with remote working • Flexible structure tailored to business needs and candidate availability Day rate £500, likely to move to payroll after probationary period
