Foundry mechanics specializing in hand moulding/machine mould casting often work in medium-sized and large foundries.
At RIEGER, they are employed in the melting store, on moulding machines, in the core shop and in the hand mould casting department.
Foundry mechanics are trained at the two learning locations of the dual training system, the training company RIEGER and the vocational school in Stuttgart.
A shortening of the training period is possible under certain conditions.
