Location: Purfleet Hours: Full-time (8am – 5pm Monday-Friday) Salary: 13.65 P/H About the Role We are looking for a reliable and motivated Forklift / Yard Operative to join our client’s growing concrete processing team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and experience working in a busy yard or manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities • Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, concrete products, and equipment around the yard • Load and unload vehicles efficiently and securely • Support yard operations including stock organisation, materials handling, and general housekeeping • Assist with the processing, batching, or preparation of concrete products (training provided) • Conduct basic equipment checks and report any issues promptly • Work closely with production teams to maintain smooth workflow and meet daily targets • Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working area About You • Valid forklift licence (counterbalance) • Experience in a yard, construction, or industrial environment • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weather conditions • Physically fit, proactive, and safety-conscious • Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions accurately • Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Comfortable wearing a face mask What We Offer • Competitive pay with overtime opportunities • Long-term, stable employment in a growing company • Full training on equipment and processes • Supportive team environment Call our office for more information on 01375 365900.
