Description Food Service Team Member Department: Food Service Operations Employment Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Food Service Team Member is responsible for executing high-quality food preparation and service in a fast-paced convenience retail environment. This role supports the daily production of grab-and-go and made-to-order food items while maintaining strict standards for food safety, cleanliness, and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Execution • Prepare, cook, and assemble food items according to approved recipes and portion standards • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly • Maintain product quality, presentation, and speed of service • Support hot and cold grab-and-go food programs Food Safety & Sanitation • Follow food safety regulations and company policies • Maintain proper food handling and storage procedures • Complete required food safety training • Maintain clean and sanitary workstations Cleanliness & Facility Standards • Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules • Maintain back-of-house cleanliness • Report equipment or sanitation concerns Safety & Compliance • Follow workplace safety procedures • Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards Teamwork & Customer Focus • Work collaboratively with team members • Assist during peak periods • Communicate effectively with supervisors Qualifications & Experience Required • QSR or commercial kitchen experience • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation • Reliable transportation • Flexible schedule Preferred • Food Handler certification • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motions Benefits: • Competitive Pay • Paid Time Off • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401K Match • Parental Leave Why Join Fresh Stop?
