Sofitel Barcelona Skipper Description Providing excellent wait service to guests to ensure guest satisfaction. Functions · Learn to take customer orders and deliver food and beverages. · Learn to use the POS system diligently, entering orders and making corrections if necessary. · Learn food and beverage content to make menu recommendations, answer questions, and share additional information with restaurant patrons. · Carry out set standards and procedures to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely manner. · Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests alike in order to ensure a smooth and accurate transition of information. · Carry out all roles and functions of the F&B department. Requisitos · Eligibility (Spain): Candidates must have the legal right to undertake an internship in Spain from the start date. No visa/work permit sponsorship available. · Currently enrolled in a Hospitality School or a Business School. · Strong social and communication skills to build valued relationships. · Proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented. · Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus. · Eager to learn (no prior specialization required). · Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.
