Within this role, you will deliver high quality flooring installations and repairs across all workstreams inc responsive repairs, planned works and empty homes. Duties include: Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of floor coverings including carpet, vinyl, safety flooring, wet room flooring, screeding, and sub-floor preparation. Assess work requirements, diagnose issues, and determine the most effective repair or installation approach. Apply a right-first-time approach to minimise repeat visits and improve service efficiency. Work with other trades to support multi-trade jobs and improve overall productivity. Communicate clearly with customers, ensuring they understand the work being undertaken and are supported. Accurately update job progress, outcomes, and notes using systems such as Dynamic Repairs Scheduler. Work in accordance with Health & Safety legislation including HASAWA and COSHH requirements. Identify and report risks, hazards, or safeguarding concerns.
