Floor Technician US-AZ-Avondale Job ID: 2026-3019 Type: Regular Full-Time # of Openings: 2 Category: Janitorial Avondale, AZ 85323 Overview Velociti Services is seeking motivated and dependable Floor Technicians to perform specialized floor care services at customer locations throughout Avondale, AZ. This position is responsible for restoring and maintaining hard surface floors and carpets by operating commercial floor care equipment and completing assigned work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Responsibilities: • Perform floor care services including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, refinishing, burnishing, buffing, polishing, and carpet extraction. • Operate commercial floor care equipment, including auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, swing machines, wet vacuums, and carpet extractors. • Complete assigned work according to company standards, customer expectations, and project schedules. • Travel between customer locations throughout Avondale, AZ as assigned. • Load, unload, transport, and maintain equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies. • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. • Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating equipment. • Report equipment issues, supply needs, and project status to leadership. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Perform other floor care, cleaning, and facility maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED preferred. • One (1) year of commercial floor care experience preferred. • Experience operating commercial floor care equipment preferred. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work for extended periods. • Reliable transportation to travel between assigned customer locations. • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. • Must successfully complete required background checks and drug screening, when applicable. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Knowledge of hard floor and carpet maintenance techniques. • Ability to safely operate commercial floor care equipment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and time management skills. • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements: • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. • Operate commercial floor care equipment for extended periods. • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday. • Work in varying indoor environments and around cleaning chemicals. • Travel between customer locations throughout the Avondale area as required.
