About This Role
A dedicated and versatile early childhood professional sought to support multiple classrooms across all age groups, from infants to preschoolers. The ideal candidate is emotionally mature, adaptable, and skilled in meeting the diverse needs of children in various stages of development.
What You'll Do
Provide daily support in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as assigned. Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities in each classroom. Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports children's emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. Supervise and interact with children at all times to ensure safety and well-being. Provide individualized care, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with toilet training. Maintain open communication with Lead Teachers and report concerns or incidents to the Director. Assist with classroom cleanliness and organization. Record daily observations, meals, diaper changes, naps, and other notes using Procare. Follow guidance from classroom teachers and the Director to support consistent care and discipline strategies. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements
Previous experience in a daycare or early childhood setting is mandatory. ● Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and age groups. ● Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. ● Understanding of child development and ability to meet children's individual needs. ● Physical ability to lift children (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) up to 70 lbs. ● Ability to react quickly and appropriately in emergency situations. CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is also required.
Nice to Have
Possessing an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Certification is a desirable trait.
