Flight Test & Evaluation • R&D • Tel-Aviv Description XTEND is looking for a Drone flight test team member to help test and improve our current and future products. Responsibilities: • The role includes field test operations. • Performing software QA testing. • Preparation of test cases and execution. • Performing QA flight and integration tests for XTEND drone systems. • Documentation, investigation, and recording of test results to gather data and hand it over to the R&D team for further analysis. • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution Requirements • 1-2 years of Proven experience in software and hardware QA testing. • Mandatory hands-on experience with drones or robotic systems. • Willingness to take part in field work, including outdoor and hands-on testing activities. • Ability to analyze, investigate and write test documents (STD, STR) and summary reports. • Experience with API integrations testing and UI (frontend) testing. • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. • Experience with JIRA and Linux operation system - advantage. • People person, self-starter, autodidact, able to work well under pressure. • Verbal and written English skills - advantage. • Experience with robotics/drone systems - advantage. • Familiarity with C/C++, Python - advantage.
