Do you have a passion for fitness and motivating others to reach their goals? We’re looking for enthusiastic and approachable Casual Fitness Instructors to deliver engaging classes and support members in leading healthier, more active lives.
Main Purpose of the Role:
To deliver safe, effective, and enjoyable fitness classes and support the health and wellbeing of participants, ensuring every session is inclusive, motivating, and tailored to a range of abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality group fitness classes (e.g., aerobics, HIIT, spin, yoga, circuits, or strength-based sessions).
• Provide clear instruction, demonstration, and encouragement to participants of all fitness levels.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment, carrying out necessary health and safety checks.
• Offer advice, guidance, and modifications to meet individual needs.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct, punctuality, and appearance.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and encourage members to stay active outside of class.
• Support the wider fitness team as required.
About You:
Essential:
• Recognised Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering group fitness classes.
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and safeguarding in a fitness environment.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to adapt sessions to suit a range of fitness levels and abilities.
• Flexible and reliable with a professional approach.
Desirable:
• Level 3 Personal Training qualification.
• First Aid certificate.
• Experience in delivering a variety of class formats (e.g., spin, yoga, dance fitness, circuits).
• Experience working in a leisure, community, or educational setting.
• Confidence using music and technology in classes.
