First Aid Office Manager
Payrate is based on education and experience. Full time, seasonal position.
Hours are 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. (some flexibility)
Minimum Qualifications :
• High School Diploma
• Current EMT certification .
• Ability to receive instruction and supervision.
• Ability to utilize technology to document treatment and for camper medication tracking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, campers and parents.
• Willingness to help in other areas of camp when the First Aid office is not busy.
• Age 18 or older
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in a medical setting
• Previous experience in a summer camp setting
• High energy, lots of creativity, ability to remain cool under pressure.
Under the direction of the Camp Director, the first aid office supervisor will:
• Manage first aid office operations including first aid treatment, medication distribution, caring for sick or injured campers or staff.
• Make sure paperwork is completed in a timely manner including health and medication logs.
• Maintain confidentiality, insuring that HIPPA policies and standards are met.
• Know and understand camp emergency procedures as well as participate in any emergency drills.
• Communicate with parents/guardians as needed on any camper concerns; Log all communication.
• Communicate needs of any staff/campers needing doctor/hospital/ambulance attention
• Follow all policies in The Campus Chester County Employee Handbook and Summer Camp Addendum
