This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, both across the organisation and for our customers by helping to keep their homes safe. About us We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. Our purpose is to provide high quality homes, services, and support to our customers, so we’ve worked with colleagues and customers to find out what’s important to them. Our customers sit at the heart of what we do, and our colleagues are the people who’ll help us achieve our vision, which is to create the best customer experience to improve everyday lives. Duties include: Lead the delivery of fire safety across relevant properties, ensuring services are compliant, well governed and aligned to organisational priorities. Oversee the identification, assessment and management of fire safety risks, with a clear focus on prevention, control and assurance. Ensure robust processes are in place to identify and resolve non-compliance quickly. Support the Head of Compliance to develop the service, strengthen assurance and embed a proactive property safety culture. Build strong relationships with internal teams, regulators, partners and other stakeholders to support effective fire safety delivery. Provide specialist fire safety advice and support to compliance, asset and investment colleagues across the business. Produce accurate and timely fire safety compliance reporting for monthly, quarterly and governance requirements. Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture where achievements are recognised and continuous improvement is expected.
