Could you be Incommunities new Fire Risk Assessor & Door Surveyor ? You'll play a key role in ensuring our high, medium and low-rise buildings have up-to-date fire risk assessments, while making sure all high-risk buildings have completed fire door inspections. Duties include: Carry out Fire risk assessments across all medium and low rise blocks in line with timescales. Undertake quarterly and annual Fire door inspections to all of high rise and high risk buildings. Collaborate with the wider business to ensure coherent and consistent delivery, providing support to different teams where required. Ensure contractors are undertaking fire remedials works as required and liaise with contractors to ensure works are completed to a compliant level. Proactively communicate and be the main point of contact with all customers impacted by surveys and inspection you are undertaking: identifying any needs and explaining the process to them so they know what will happen and when. Attend site meetings, customer/resident/leaseholder meetings associated with the delivery of the surveys/inspections as required. Identify and escalate any non-compliance activity, recording and reporting an breaches and taking appropriate action where risks remain unresolved.
