Full Job Description Summary Fire Alarm and Suppression System Inspector Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Read blueprints of low voltage Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems • Perform inspections in different areas (ie. data centers to Production Mills) • Familiar with Fike, Kidde, Notifier ,Autocall type systems • Must have NICET or KY State fire alarm license • Familiar with fire extinguishers and Dry Chemical systems a plus • Establish and maintain good working relationships between co-workers, customers, and suppliers. Qualifications: • Previous experience in Fire Alarm, Clean Agent systems inspections maintenance, or other related fields preferred • Familiarity with NFPA 72 • Familiarity with hand and power tools • Ability to handle physical workload. • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills • Work on ladders and or scaffolding • Ability to lift 50 75 lbs. to carry equipment, ladders, or tools. • Strong attention to detail • Fire Alarm certifications (NICET, ESA, FSSA, Etc..) Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED. • Clean Driver License Record. • Clean Federal background check. • Hand tools (screwdriver, wire strippers Etc.) Vulcan to provide all power tools. • Over-night travel may be required.
