We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Financial Patient Services Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of medical billing and patient financial responsibilities. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients and our clinical teams, ensuring accurate financial processing, insurance coordination, and exceptional customer service to support our clients’ treatment journey.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with financial inquiries related to their treatment plans, insurance coverage, and billing processes.
Verify patient insurance information and obtain pre-authorizations or referrals as needed to facilitate seamless billing procedures.
Collect payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations and confidentiality standards.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is complete for billing purposes.
Maintain detailed records of patient accounts, payment histories, and insurance claims in our management system.
Follow up on outstanding balances or denied claims promptly to optimize revenue cycle management.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns professionally and empathetically.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Proven experience in a medical office setting with a focus on financial services or billing support.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare billing procedures.
Prior experience working in medical offices is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, insurance providers, and team members.
Proficiency in office software applications and electronic health record systems.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This is a hybrid position requiring regular in-office attendance based on business needs and company policy.
