The role manages financial operations within the Student Affairs Business Services team, overseeing account reconciliation, cash handling, financial reporting, and coordinating staff including student workers. The position also involves training staff on financial procedures, assisting with budget processes, and liaising with grant offices. Highlights • Coordinates financial operations and maintains financial accounts for Student Life and Dean of Students units. • Oversees cash handling duties, including petty cash and reimbursements, with possible weekend event involvement. • Prepares recurring and ad hoc financial reports and assists with budget development and account status advisement. • Maintains internal accounting systems linked to the Financial Reporting System (FRS). • Supervises and schedules financial document preparation by staff and student workers. • Trains staff to ensure compliance with university financial policies. • May handle payroll coordination, property inventory, and act as property custodian. • Investigates and resolves financial discrepancies through reallocations and journal vouchers. • Minimum of five years of related experience or equivalent education is required. • Salary range is $20.67 to $23.51 per hour.
