Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller (CA/CPA qualified) to lead the finance function of a growing multi-site dental network and digital manufacturing laboratory with nearly $10M in revenue . This role focuses on strategic financial management, improving financial systems, automating processes, managing multi-entity reporting, and preparing accurate financial reports for external advisors and audit requirements. The ideal candidate will help drive efficiency, support business growth, and strengthen overall financial operations. Responsibilities Financial Control & Consolidations: Manage consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) across multiple clinical entities and a digital manufacturing lab. Manage intercompany accounts and cash flows. Systems Mastery & Automation: Act as the lead administrator for our financial tech ecosystem (Xero, Hubdoc, Dental4Windows, Carestack, and custom fintech platforms). Build strict automated bank rules and invoice publishing workflows to streamline high-volume transactional data. Provider Remuneration & Audits: Execute complex monthly provider payment runs. Audit Dental4Windows reports against internal financial platforms to calculate provider commissions, deducting lab costs, merchant fees, and facility fees accurately. Compliance & External Advisory: Prepare clean monthly manual journals, BAS workpapers, and year-end files. Act as the primary technical point of contact for external advisory and accounting firms (William Buck / KPMG). Oversee payroll tax aggregation and compliance. Commercial Strategy & Cost Optimization: Conduct regular operational expense reviews, analyze clinical and manufacturing margins, and provide scenario modeling for expansion initiatives and equipment investments Qualifications Qualification: CA, CPA, or internationally recognized equivalent is mandatory . Australian Experience: Demonstrated experience working with Australian businesses and a deep understanding of Australian financial systems, compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation), and accounting standards is an absolute must . Industry Experience: 3–5+ years of commercial/industry accounting experience, ideally within multi-site healthcare, multi-location retail, or digital manufacturing. Technical Skills: Expert-level mastery of Xero and Hubdoc . Deep familiarity with dental practice management software (D4W, Carestack) or multi-entity ERPs is a major advantage. Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English skills. Must be comfortable interacting directly with C-suite leadership and local Practice Managers. Why RecruitGo?
