Role and Responsibilities: • Oversee and control all aspects of the Finance function of the Hotel. · Work closely with the General Manager and the Senior team ensuring all HOD’s are aware of expected KPI’s including wages, GP’S and departmental margins. · Prepare Monthly Management Accounts to strict deadlines which include Profit & Loss, KPI’S, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and Cashflow forecast. · Lead review and update forecasts for both revenue and costs. Identify risks and opportunities that may affect the financial performance of the hotel. · Prepare costings of all Capital projects for approval by Head Office. · Monitor all Group internal controls to ensure they are being maintained and robust. · Maximise profitability of the Hotel through commercial awareness, strict controls and input into key strategic decisions. · Manage Cashflows ensuring bank payments fall within schedule. · Income Audit management ensuring accuracy and no leakage of cash. · Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for Management and Head office. · Preparation of annual Budgets · Responsible for annual Audit and maintenance of files for Group internal review.
