Financial Controller Our client is a global organisation committed to innovation and operational excellence across multiple markets. The position is critical in aligning financial operations with the company's growth objectives and ensuring compliance across diverse regions. Role Overview: The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the organisation's worldwide financial strategy, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining governance and compliance, and leading a global finance team. This role acts as a key liaison across departments, driving financial transformation and supporting strategic decision-making to facilitate sustainable growth. Key Skills & Experience: • Over 12 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing regional or global operations • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent qualification • Extensive experience with international audit firms and senior in-house finance positions • Deep understanding of IFRS, international tax laws, and multi-currency consolidations • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, especially Oracle, and automated payment reconciliation processes • Strong strategic acumen with the ability to manage cross-border projects and improve global processes • Exceptional communication skills and the capability to engage with stakeholders across cultures • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is advantageous Key Responsibilities: • Develop and direct the global financial roadmap, ensuring scalability and alignment with the organisation's growth ambitions • Oversee complex international financial operations, including payment ecosystems tailored to diverse regulatory environments • Maintain statutory compliance and manage multi-jurisdictional audits to mitigate risk in a fast-evolving sector • Mentor and expand the global finance team, fostering continuous improvement and technical mastery • Act as the primary financial liaison between regional leadership and functional departments, translating data into strategic insights • Lead the implementation of advanced financial systems and automation, including payment gateway integrations, to enhance efficiency Requirements: • Eligible to work on-site in the specified location • Right to work within the region and ability to commit to the employment terms outlined • The role is a permanent position within an Asia-based environment • Flexible with start date, ideally available by 28/05/2026 If you possess the expertise to drive financial strategy at a global scale and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply now.
