Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial and market analyses to identify industry trends, growth opportunities, and competitive risks.
• Support research activities through Capital IQ and other public and financial data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret market and business data.
• Generate insights from complex datasets to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Prepare management presentations, reports, and regular updates on key market and business developments.
• Support the assessment of potential M&A and strategic opportunities through financial and market analysis.
• Monitor competitor activities, market developments, and industry dynamics.
• Continuously improve competitive intelligence methodologies, tools, and data sources.
• Support ad-hoc financial, strategic, and operational analyses across the organization as required.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration
• Advanced degree or professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is considered an advantage
Work Experience:
• Strong financial and analytical background with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Up to 4 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or related fields, preferably within an international environment.
• Previous experience in a Big Four firm or similar environment is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to understand both the broader strategic context and detailed business processes.
Technical Skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work with large datasets and transform data into actionable insights.
• Experience with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other financial research platforms is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
Language / Communication Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and high-quality presentations and management materials.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic international environment.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Resilient and adaptable with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
