Position Summary:
As a Finance Analyst you will assist in achieving the company’s goals by providing financial leadership to the Marketing team. This includes analytical and strategic support for growth initiatives, business cases for product innovation, brand planning and forecasting, price-pack architecture, and marketing investments that fuel growth. The Finance Analyst will also partner closely with Marketing leaders to help manage budgets, monitor spending performance, improve forecast accuracy, and provide financial insights that support investment decisions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Become an analytical thought partner with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for agile decision-making.
Support the innovation process through financial modeling, scenario analysis, business case development, and post-launch performance tracking for new product launches.
Lead the monthly close, reporting and forecasting for the company’s marketing budget, helping to analyze spend trends and efficiency opportunities.
Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve planning accuracy and visibility into brand performance and investment effectiveness.
Strengthen financial controls, improve reporting processes, and drive continuous improvement across Brand Finance activities.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (business, finance or accounting specialization preferred).
1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ideally at a consumer-packaged goods company or retailer.
Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Experience identifying trends and insights and leveraging them to influence decision making.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Excellent planning, organizing, multitasking and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate across teams to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort developing and delivering presentations to senior management.
