Role Overview: The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the Company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, sound internal controls, and effective financial management. The role supports business decision-making through financial analysis, maintains compliance with Tanzanian tax and regulatory requirements, supervises the finance team, and assists the Financial Controller in driving operational excellence across the finance function. Responsibilities: ● Supervise the day-to-day accounting operations of the Company and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Company policies. ● Review and approve journals, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, reconciliations, and other accounting entries before posting to the accounting system. ● Oversee cash management, petty cash administration, bank transactions, payment processing, and month-end and year-end financial closing activities. ● Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance analyses to support management decision-making. ● Analyze revenue, operating expenses, inventory performance, cost of goods sold, gross margins, and other key financial indicators, and recommend corrective actions where necessary. ● Review and approve bank, supplier, customer, inventory, fixed asset, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. ● Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, revenue recognition, cost controls, and working capital management to support operational efficiency. ● Monitor and optimize the Company's working capital position by overseeing receivables, payables, inventory levels, and other key working capital drivers to support operational efficiency and financial sustainability. ● Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of VAT, PAYE, SDL, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and all other statutory returns in compliance with applicable laws. ● Serve as the primary operational liaison with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) by coordinating tax audits, assessments, reconciliations, statutory inspections, and regulatory correspondence. ● Ensure compliance with TRA requirements, Electronic Fiscal Device (EFD) procedures, applicable accounting standards, statutory reporting obligations, and Company financial policies. ● Coordinate and support the planning and execution of external audits by preparing audit schedules, facilitating the provision of financial information, responding to audit queries, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings, strengthening internal controls, and supporting regulatory inspections. ● Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accurate recording of asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and supporting documentation. ● Supervise, mentor, coach, and develop Finance Officers, Senior Accountants, and other finance personnel by allocat
