Are you an experienced Finance Systems Analyst with strong Sun Systems knowledge? Do you enjoy providing hands-on systems support while helping organisations navigate large-scale transformation? Are you available at short notice for an exciting interim opportunity?
A large organisation is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join its specialist finance systems team on an initial 6-month contract . Offering predominantly remote working with occasional travel to a North London office , this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining critical finance systems while a major ERP implementation is underway.
The key responsibilities of the Finance Systems Analyst are:
• Acting as the primary support contact for the organisation's legacy finance systems, ensuring business-critical processes continue to run smoothly.
• Managing user access, approval workflows, cost centre structures and system administration across multiple finance platforms.
• Responding to and resolving user queries, system issues and data errors in a timely manner.
• Performing routine system maintenance, file uploads and data validation activities.
• Working closely with Finance, IT and external system providers to investigate issues and implement improvements.
• Supporting finance system governance, ensuring data integrity and system controls are maintained.
• Providing support to the wider finance transformation programme where required, assisting with integration and implementation activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve system processes and enhance the user experience across the finance function.
The successful candidate will have:
• Strong hands-on experience supporting Sun Systems (Infor SunSystems), which is essential.
• Previous experience administering finance systems rather than solely using them as an end user.
• Experience supporting a Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) system; exposure to IPOS would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues independently.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to support a wide range of stakeholders.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
• Experience supporting finance system implementations or ERP transformation programmes would be advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy organisation during a significant period of systems transformation, where your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining business continuity while helping to deliver long-term change.
