We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the monthly management and annual statutory reporting close of key group entities, as well as assisting with group consolidated reporting. You will be working closely with the group finance team and other key senior stakeholders in the wider company, as well as external partners and advisers. Key Responsibilities Efficiently produce accurate monthly management accounts for multiple assigned key Group entities, ensuring comprehensive financial oversight and control. Assist with other group entities as required Assist with the consolidation of the group financials for monthly management reporting, quarterly closes and annual statutory reporting Ensure all financial elements (Assets, Liabilities, Income, and Expenditure) are correctly accounted for within a robust control environment Bank account and cash management, including ensuring all invoices are paid and receivables collected on time Approver and checker for allocated payments and transactions ensuring appropriate management control and ‘4 eyes’ principles are followed Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Ensure compliance with Statutory, Regulatory, and Tax obligations Support with regulatory and licence applications as necessary Lead year end statutory accounts and audit, liaising with external parties as needed Engage in ad hoc project work to support business growth Requirements Background and experience Fully qualified Accountant or DSCG equivalent with at least 5 years in a similar role In depth technical knowledge of French GaaP and IFRS. Experience with US or Singapore GaaP would be helpful but not required Proven track record of managing audit engagements A good awareness of regulatory and compliance landscapes, with the opportunity to build knowledge specific to both trading and crypto Experience with French R&D tax claims and VAT returns preferred Strong skills and experience with accounting systems, ideally NetSuite, and advanced skills with Microsoft and/or Google products Sound judgment and strong analytical skills English language proficiency is mandatory Skills and Personality A demonstrable passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain would be preferred Analytical thinker with the ability to understand problems, determine root cause and recommend appropriate solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to relate complex concepts in a concise and easy to understand manner Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, often under tight time constraints Effectively work with peers, leadership, and stakeholders in a productive collaborative environment Being happy diving into detail, but also stepping back and putting the bigger picture at the forefront of decisions making Benefits International environment (English is the main language) 50% of transportation costs & a sustainable mobility agreement Swile lunch voucher (€9.25 per day, 60% covered) 100% Alan Blue covered for you and your chil
