Job Description Your new role as Financial Controller: As Commercial Cost Accountant and Finance Manager you shall work closely with the manufacturing department and become a true partner for finance with operations. Working with stake holders you shall help the business understand cost initiatives and present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders across the divisions. Based on site in Bolton you shall be responsible for the production of cost accounting and provide analysis and commentary across the site over a number of levels. As a Finance Manager within a division you shall also manage 4 staff in a smaller team of your own, ensuring ledger management, production of monthly management accounts and cash collection within this department. Business wide you shall monitor business KPI's and work closely with Group Finance Director to provide detailed cost analysis, you shall also have exposure to new product costing and projects which effect site performance. A business partner and the link between finance and operations you shall seek to create efficiency at ground level and assist with month-end process where necessary. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The successful Candidate shall be able to work across a business effectively whilst also managing a small team in a Finance Manager role. A qualified accountant, (ACA ACCA or CIMA) you shall be a strong Excel user and competent with spreadsheet manipulation. A leader and technically strong, you shall be able to convey financial information in a way non-financial management can understand both face-to-face and in spreadsheet format.
