Description
We are looking for a Finance Director to lead the financial operations of Devsu, while acting as a strategic partner to leadership.  This is not a traditional accounting role. You will act as a senior financial leader, owning financial visibility, planning, and decision support across the company, and serving as a key partner to leadership in shaping the business.  You’ll be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy and helping shape the financial direction of the business, balancing execution with strategy. Requirements Key Responsibilities  Financial Operations & Compliance  Own the monthly close process across entities. Oversee preparation of:   Balance Sheet   Profit & Loss (P&L)   Cash flow statements   Ensure compliance with:   Ecuadorian accounting, tax, and labor regulations (primary)   U.S. GAAP   Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors in both, US and Ecuador jurisdictions. Strategic Finance & Decision Support  Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.   Build and maintain financial models to support growth decisions.   Provide insights on:   Profitability by client / service line.   Cost structure and margin optimization.   Cash flow and capital allocation.   Support leadership in strategic initiatives (pricing, expansion, efficiency).   Identify risks and opportunities proactively.   Business Optimization  Design and implement cost control and financial discipline frameworks.   Improve financial processes, reporting clarity, and internal controls through automation and AI.   Support cross-border structure optimization and tax efficiency (in coordination with advisors).   Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 3+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles, with increasing responsibility. Strong knowledge of: Ecuadorian accounting and tax regulations (required). U.S. GAAP (working knowledge required). Experience managing multi-entity or international financial operations. Proven experience in financial planning, modeling, and analysis (FP&A). Strong business acumen—ability to connect numbers to decisions. Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills.
