We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented, proactive Finance Assistant to join our Central Support Team. This is a key role supporting the financial operations of the Trust, by providing high quality, transactional processing and financial support across the Trust, and being a key point of contact for Trust colleagues and external suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on existing financial or administrative experience and develop a career in finance. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and will gain exposure to a broad range of financial processes, systems and schools. About the Role As a Finance Assistant, you will provide high-quality transactional processing and financial support across the Trust. Your responsibilities will include: • Processing purchase orders, invoices and supplier payments • Setting up new suppliers and maintaining accurate records • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries • Monitoring and managing the finance inbox • Processing petty cash and credit card transactions • Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes • Assisting with audit preparation and financial compliance activities • Supporting schools with financial administration and queries • Processing sales invoice requests • Building positive working relationships with colleagues across the Trust
