We are looking for an experienced Finance Applications & Systems Transformation Lead to take ownership of finance systems and finance master data capabilities across key finance process areas. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Technology, Data, and Internal Controls, ensuring that finance applications operate reliably, support compliant financial processes, and enable ongoing transformation through standardization, simplification, and automation. You will play a critical role in designing and improving finance system capabilities, supporting operational excellence, driving process improvements, and ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer and documentation practices. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, with a strong focus on governance, controls, operational stability, and continuous improvement. YOU WILL Act as the functional owner of finance systems and finance master data within assigned finance process areas. Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, system designs, and scalable solutions. Partner with Finance, Technology, Data, and Internal Controls teams to deliver compliant and effective system capabilities. Lead the design and enhancement of finance application configurations, integrations, business rules, and embedded controls. Drive knowledge transfer activities and ensure operational readiness for new processes, systems, and organizational transitions. Establish and maintain key operational documentation, including procedures, runbooks, playbooks, decision trees, and exception-handling guidelines. Ensure documentation standards support audit requirements, governance expectations, and long-term operational sustainability. Define and monitor KPIs and performance metrics related to operational readiness, stability, quality, and continuous improvement. Support the implementation of structured case management, issue logging, and support processes to improve traceability and service quality. Coordinate functional testing activities, user acceptance testing, and release readiness for finance-related system changes. Ensure projects and enhancements are delivered with minimal impact to financial operations, reporting, and control environments. Provide functional leadership for critical incidents, system defects, and finance-impacting issues. Perform root-cause analysis and drive resolution of recurring operational challenges. Collaborate with support teams to establish effective incident management and escalation processes. Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual activities, and improve system efficiency. Drive standardization of finance processes, controls, data structures, and system usage across the organization. Support automation, analytics, and data-driven initiatives by promoting strong data quality and governance practices. Contribute to transformation roadmaps, prioritization activities, and continuous improvement programs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in finance systems, ERP environments, finance transformation, or related functional leadership roles. Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including financial close, reporting, and internal controls. Experience working with ERP finance modules and related finance applications.
