In your role as ‘Finance and Business Operations Support’ (Maternity Leave Cover) you will ensure financial accuracy, optimize licensing operations, and streamline reporting.

In the Digital Corporate and Analytics (DM) team, financial precision and operational agility are our bedrocks. We are looking for a Finance and Business Operations Support (Maternity Leave Cover) specialist to be the strategic engine behind our numbers, translating complex operational inputs into financial execution.
This is a high-visibility role supporting our dynamic DM Product & Service Lines (PSLs) across a global footprint. You won't just track budgets; you will shape the financial efficiency of the entire value chain and ecosystem of Airbus.
Why This Role?
• Global Visibility: Gain direct insights into Corporate and Analytics leadership operations, serving as the critical link between Project Managers (PMs), PSL leaders, and central financial controlling.
• Strategic Accuracy: You will be the guardian of financial integrity, driving monthly closing analyses, forecasting that defend and fund Airbus’s digital frontier.
• Operational Innovation: You aren't just running reports; you are modernizing. You will dismantle bottlenecks and design automated, smart solutions to evolve our financial operations for a faster digital age.
Main tasks:
• Gather, analyze, and consolidate financial inputs from Product Managers and PSL leaders.
• Combine operational inputs with financial data to build robust, reliable forecasts.
• Lead the monthly financial closing analysis specifically for DM PSLs.
• Consolidate and track the business's ongoing cost contributions during organizational or perimeter changes.
• Oversee and track licenses planning.
• Support the collection and consolidation of project workloads and capacity balancing.
• Proactively identify and fix discrepancies (e.g., alerting teams to missing bookings, rectifying misbookings, and adjusting license roadmaps).
• Execute additional tracking and alignment actions arising from financial board reviews.
• Deliver weekly reports on subcontracting status and goods receipts to ensure operational transparency.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop new processes to maximize efficiency.
• Help design and implement automated solutions to modernize financial operations.
Our ideal candidate will have / be…
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Finance, Business Administration
• Team player with a proactive and collaborative mindset
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration or any related field
• Strong organizational skills, autonomous and result-oriented
• Constantly looking for continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
• Good knowledge of Google Suite, incl. GSheets/DataStudio
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work autonomously
