SERVICE ENGINEER Salary: €48,000 Basic + Company Vehicle + Pension + Overtime Opportunities An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Engineer to join a market-leading engineering business supporting a wide range of high-profile commercial, healthcare, corporate, retail and critical infrastructure environments across Ireland. This is a field-based role suited to an electrically or mechanically minded engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair and installation of specialist automated systems, working with cutting-edge technology used in some of Ireland's most recognisable buildings and facilities. The Role • Service, maintain and repair automated access and security systems • Diagnose faults and carry out reactive maintenance works • Complete planned preventative maintenance visits • Build strong relationships with customers and act as a professional representative of the business • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures • Identify opportunities for technical improvements and system upgrades • Manage stock levels, company equipment and service documentation • Participate in an after-hours on-call rota shared across the engineering team What We're Looking For • Experience in a mechanical, electrical or electro-mechanical engineering role • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities • Previous field service or maintenance experience preferred • Experience with automation, access control, industrial equipment or similar systems would be advantageous • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills • Strong commitment to health and safety • Full Irish driving licence What's on Offer • €48,000 basic salary • Company vehicle • Pension contribution • Laptop and mobile phone • Tools, equipment and uniform provided • Ongoing technical training and development • Opportunity to work with industry-leading technology • Long-term career progression within a growing international business This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable, long-term position with a well-established organisation that invests heavily in its people, technology and future growth.
