Description
Flink Robotics is a VC-backed startup building autonomous robots for material handling applications. As a Field Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for assembling, configuring, testing, and deploying robots at customer sites, serving as the technical lead during installations and commissioning complex electromechanical systems in production environments. What You'll Do • Assemble, configure and test robots in the lab and at customer sites to iterate and improve the system • Plan, coordinate and execute on-site robot installations as the technical lead, ensuring smooth customer handover • Run the autonomy stack and tune perception and motion modules in production environments • Train operators and provide hands-on support during customer ramp-up, collecting field insights for product roadmap improvements • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site • Represent Flink at customer demos, pilots, trade shows and industry events • Record field data and transfer lessons learned to engineering teams to improve reliability and unlock new use-cases What You Need • 3–5 years of experience in mechatronics, sensors, networking and basic control principles • Strong track record in commissioning complex electromechanical or robotic systems in the field • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues • Proven ability to manage stakeholders across technical and operational levels • Fluent in English; willing and able to travel frequently to production sites (up to 60%) Nice to Have • Prior robot deployment experience • Proficiency in German or other languages • Valid driver's license • Familiarity with Linux Competitive salary and equity, top-tier gear provided
