Field & Integration Engineer • Location: Romania & International • Company: Elmet International • Department: Field Engineering & Operations Overview: Elmet International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field & Integration Engineer to lead and expand our Field Engineering and Operations team. This role is ideal for a military veteran with hands-on combat experience, combining technical expertise with operational leadership in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the Field Engineering team across multiple locations. • Plan, execute, and oversee field experiments and system integration in real-world conditions. • Conduct and certify live-fire testing of advanced defense systems. • Ensure operational readiness and safety during field deployments. • Mentor junior engineers and foster professional development within the team. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. • Travel extensively within Romania and internationally to support field operations. Required Qualifications: • Military Background: Combat experience with deep understanding of military systems and field operations. • Education: Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred). • Field Expertise: Proven experience in field testing, system integration, or operational deployment (with references). • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects (with references). • Adaptability: Willingness to travel frequently and work independently in diverse environments. • Technical Proficiency: Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with system integration. • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant tools. • Languages: Fluent in English and Romanian (spoken, written, and reading). Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with live-fire testing and certification. • Additional language skills (advantage). • Driver's license Why Join Elmet International?
